We are unable to provide for pets and have a non-smoking policy indoors as a
courtesy to all our guests. A 10% local bed tax is not included in room prices.
THERE IS NO TWO NIGHT MINIMUM STAY EXCEPT ON SOME
HOLIDAY WEEKENDS.
Rooms are for one or two persons only. Older children are welcome upon
special arrangement.
| Please keep in mind that this is an adult romantic getaway. The house is
filled with nice antiques and the gourmet breakfast, which most children don't
enjoy, is served on China and crystal. If you have children under the age of 14
and want to stay at a bed and breakfast, we would be glad to e–mail
you some very nice family oriented B and B phone numbers. |

Your reservation can be guaranteed with Visa, MasterCard, Discover,
and American Express, or a personal check in the full amount received within seven days after making the reservation.
Cancellation Policy: If it is necessary to cancel a reservation, there will be no charge only
if the reservation is cancelled more than seven days before the
scheduled arrival date (14 days for holiday weekends). Credit card will
be charged 7 days prior to your arrival for the full amount due, which is
non–refundable. Guests are responsible for payment of all nights
reserved, regardless of guests' actual arrival or departure date. A reservation made inside of the 7 day cancellation period will be charged the day the reservation is made and it is non-refundable.
The most common daily complaint at The Plantation is:
Guests are always upset that they only made a reservation for one night instead
of two or three nights. "Why?", Scott and Marie ask and always get
one, two or all three of the following reasons:
1. The Plantation is the nicest B and B they have ever stayed at.
2. Chef Marie's gourmet breakfast is the best they have ever had.
3. They didn't realize that they had easy access from The Plantation to Sequoia
National Park, King's Canyon National Park and Mineral King and that each park
was a full day's adventure and all so very different from each other.
